For this project, I redesigned the classic collection of the original Grimm's fairytale book jacket, table of contents, two chapters, and its beginning author and copyright sections. I focused on creating a leather texture and incorporating the new illustrations into both the book jacket and the page bordering and chapter art. I focused on increasing visual unity between the elements and conveying the feeling of a classic fairytale collection from long ago. Lastly, I typeset the text within all the sections and created a visual hierarchy between the characters speaking and the story's narration. I created the graphic elements using a mixture of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. I used InDesign to format the text and design the layouts of all the various parts of this project.
